recording DVD's

Can anyone recommend a program (preferably free!) that I can download that will allow me to make back up copies of copyright protected. I have been told of one that "photographs" the information on the disk, but the person that told me can't remember the name.

Or you could try DVD Shrink -

DVD Shrink won't remove copyright. You need to run dvd43 in the background as you use shrink. NOT that I know anything about protected films, heh.
