Anyone know what this means in a DVD Recorder. I would have thought all Recorders had that. Many Thanks.

If the recorder does not have a tv tuner it can only record the programme that is playing on the tv.

A bit pointless.

Many now have freeview tuners included, and I would not buy an expensive one that didn't.
