Is it possible to make a desktop shortcut that will take a typed-in parameter (e.g. date) so you automatically go to the relevant URL? And how (other than editing "Properties")?
e.g. Go to a favourite "OnTheBox" (that already uses parameters to find the correct day), straight to today's TV programmes.
(I also put this in "Internet", but not sure if people look at such sub-categories.)
It's not exactly what you describe, but it should do the job.
After you've installed it, you could right-click your browser short-cut and choose "Run with parameters" then type in the URL. As it remembers the parameter from one use to the next, after that it would just be a question of changing the date.
