Me again - this time I definitely have the right kit!

I have just installed my new ADSL router/modem and wireless receiver, and I can connect to the router but cannot connect to the internet. The green "internet" light does not light. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

P.S. I write this via my old modem!

First things first.
Assuming you have installed the router software (if any).

Shut down everthing and switch back on in this exact order. (Disconnect the dial up modem first.)

Modem - wait 30 seconds for lights to settle down
Router - wait....
PCs.

If that still does not connect, right click on your task bar wireless icon and click repair.

Still no good - disable firewall. Your firewall may be blocking it.
