All of a sudden I cannot connect to the internet .
My ISP is Telewest Blueyonder - I'm on dial, up
I keep getting a message on the phone saying that the number i have dialled is not recognised - but I have not altered the dial up number or anything
I had this same problem approx a month ago - I restored my computer to about a month previous and that seemed to cure the problem - which has now reappeared .
I have restored the computer again , but it has not cured the problem .
Have you tried using the "Blueyonder Instant Support Tool" it diagnoses internet connection problems, if you're with telewest it should've been installed, you don't need to be on internet for it to diagnose and fix problems, at least it will tell you where the problem lies, if you don't have it, then sorry but if you get problem fixed, download it for free on website, and then if you have problems again it will be there to help you, hope you get it sorted.
