Mega delays receiving SMS msgs

I am with t-mobile (using nokia 6610) and regularly get delays of 3-4 hours befor txt msgs are delivered. Msgs sent to me often dont get thru to my phone for 3 or 4 hours. Sometimes also get 'sim card not ready' message no phone. Then like the buses they all come together! Nokia say its the SIM card, T-mobile say its the phone! Any clues?

Try using your SIM card in someone else's phone to see if it works OK. If it does work in someone else's phone then your phone is at fault & if you still get the same problem it will be the SIM card.
