why is my phone so slow? even when i delete all videos and pictures it can take up to 15 seconds to open a text message. every thing i do on the phone just takes ages. any ideas?

seems a long time to wait mine takes about 6 secs
but N70 painfully slow and known for it mine takes from switching on almost 30 secs excluding the password log in
sorry not much help
have you do an update via cable or blue tooth for their web site

i thought about getting a 1gb memory card to make it faster but someone said this would only slow it further. i think you're right-it's just slow. disappointing for such a recent phone. are there any really fast business phones with music player and video player etc?

dont know mate but all my mates seem to go for Motorola's
a memory card wont speed things up go for a web update its easy to do following instructions

I assume you've tried turning it on and off? It should clear the memory and give you a slight speed increase.
