Big Problems with Nero!!!

My PC has been reformatted & I lost all my software, I have reinstalled Nero onto it again, but am having problems with it this time round, I used to be able to copy & burn with ease before. Now when I drag everything across & hit the burn icon, nothing happens at all? any advice, I feel it is not recognising my drive, as the light isn't coming on when I try to burn.

Which Version of Nero 5 or 6? I'm guessing 5 so first install the lastest update http://www.nero.com/en/631933457317970.html Now are you using INCD? Are you using CD-R or CD-RW?

I am using version 5.5.6.9, when I go into choose recorder, there is only image recorder in there to choose from, I can't browse for anything else.
