If you want to get rid of all of them, just use Windows Explorer to open "My Pictures", then EDIT>SELECT ALL and press delete. If there are some you want to keep, click each one while holding down the Ctrl button, which will highlight those you want to keep. Go to EDIT>INVERT SELECTION and the ones you want to get rid of should now be highlighted, just press delete. If you are only getting rid of some of them, it may make life easier if right-click in the window before choosing the "keepers". Then "sort by" date, which (unless you have added pictures since your download) should bring all your genuine photos to the top of the list. If you accidentally delete a picture you wanted, you can always open the recycle bin and restore it from there as long as you don't empty the bin in the interim.
You can also highlight selected folders or items by left-clicking whilst holding the control button. When you've highlighted all those you want to ditch, right-click and then choose delete.
