I've never had problems before but now I can't get into most web pages - they just seem to take forever to load and I have to keep pressing reload until I eventually get in. Any ideas anybody? Many thanks.

Tried internet explorer?

i.e., are you sure it's firefox? I would be very inclined to think that it's more likely your connection or something else causing interference on your computer.
Clean out your temp internet files and cache.
So, are you saying that some web sites load fine, and others are problematic? If that is the case, then it is more likely your ISP, however, cleaning your cache won't do any harm.

Also, if certain sites are more graphic-heavy than others, and your PC is slow, or your internet connection is low, then this could explain it a bit.

Do a ping test for us: (assuming you are on Windows)
