Problem with speakers

I have recently purchased a brand new HP Slimline Media Centre which I am using in conjunction with a new Philips LCD HD television (as a monitor).

I am having problems connecting the line-out cable to the Left & Right inputs at the back of the TV.

Which input should I use out of the following at the rear?


C/sub, Mic, Rear, Side, In, Out

There is a socket at the front for a headphone jack and this is working properly with headphones.
