Strange Sounds!

Whenever I listen to online radio , or a cd through my pc, when I use the scroll bar it sounds like 'the record's slipping'!! Why does this happen and what can I do to rectify it?

Guess this is just your PC struggling to keep up. Updating the screen display (after scrolling) and decoding music are both processor intensive operations so your PC might not be able to do both at once. I don't think there is much you can do about it without upgrading one or more parts of your PC e.g. faster graphics card. You could maybe reduce your screen resolution but suspect you will not want to do this.
