Hi,

Can anybody recommend / advise me on purchasing a home cinema system.

I have a 32" LCD Sony TV. I would like a decent sound system

Any advice would be great thanks

hi Brendan you have to get an av digital processor to get dolby 5.1 or dts
ive got a Yamaha model ,also you need an amp for the front left and right with this model, it has centre..rear left. rear right amps in,but only an output feed feed for a sub woofer amp
its complicated but it's a dam good sound of course you can buy the all in one type from adsa / argos etc but if you want the floor to shake and annoy the neighbours get seperates

The LG range is pretty good. I would avoid anything by Sony now as 90% of their products are not made by them.

Sony DVD players are now made by Samsung and the TV's are made by Hitachi. Both are still branded as Sony.
