I can't access some websites tonight

I am a Tiscali customer (in case that's relevant!). My e-mail is working fine and I can access some websites (such as this one and Google and the Lotto) but some sites (normally always ok cannot be displayed e.g. ebay, Argos, toy r us and my local GP surgery). Is this just me or is this problem universal?

Hi Hannah, I'm with Tiscali too and I'm having the same problem. I can't even sign into MSN!!!!! Aaaarrrrrrrrrgh!x

If I try going directly to a URL by typing it, I sometimes end up at Google search engine instead!?

I've just logged onto the Tiscali help site and checked their "Service Issues" and a Service Status announcement says that, as of 8pm tonight, that customers on their Wapping LLU exchange may be experiencing some broad band service "issues". Not sure what exchange I'm on!! but I don't live anywhere near Wapping! Oh well think I'll switch off!

I suggest you explore ISP Review website http://www.ispreview.co.uk/index.shtml and click on the 'ISP Complaints' tab. For some reason Tiscali often features there!
