Sony Ericsson W300i mobile phone

Has anyone had any problems with this phone? Mine does very peculiar things with the text messages. I can open and read a new text, close my phone and then when I next go to my inbox, that text has disappeared. Another problem is that texts I've read and deleted several days previously, will suddenly reappear in my inbox. Sometimes these, or even newer text messages which I haven't deleted, will have the wrong sender's name attached to them. Similarly, in my sent messages box, I can send a text and when it has confirmed the message has been received, the text has already disappeared from my sent messages box, as though it has been deleted and, again, occasionally older messages will have the wrong recipient's name attached to them.

I thought it was more of a problem when the memory was getting too full, but it happens when there are very few messages stored as well. My phone isn't even a year old yet, and has been behaving this way for a good few months now.
