Yes it is possible to use garmin & anquet. I belong to a walking group and use anquet maps to plot walks and then transfer the walks to my garmin quest.

Thanks wudy, does the "quest" have a visual map on screen or does it just point you to pre progammed co-ordinates, i'm ok at plotting routes on anquet but i want a GPS that has a visual, e.g the etrex legend.
