samsung zv 40

hi, have aphone, which I am told is a zv 40. ordered charger from e-bay, but wrong size. the seller is certain that the one he sent is correct, but the width of the plug is 9mm, the socket on the phone is approx 15mm. I have looked at pictures of the phone on the net, they look the same, but my one has a short stubby aerial. so, where can I find the model number marked on the phone? if it's under the battery, then how do I get the battery off? or is mine an older model.
