Well more of a backup charger that doesn't need to be plugged into the mains. My locker is about a foot cubed metal thing amongst many others in the ladies locker room without it's own power supply unfortunately ;)
they all do the same job clarabel82
see me in my locker at break
lol

My reason for asking is I used to have one I can't remember where I got it from but it was cheap and it didn't work! I definitely don't want a wind up after reading that it took someone an hour of winding it to get the phone to turn on then it went straight off again. I've seen some on the net but haven't seen one with a good review.
where do you work that doesn't have electricity?

how about

they all look pretty foolproof ..... all you need then is an emergency battery charger!!

the maplin one is a one off - but supposedly has a long shelf life
duracell have a use by 2012 date at the mo.....

failing that .... you should be able to buy an extra long extension lead from B&Q

Thanks for the links there, they all look pretty good.
I work at Boots as a lowly sales monkey and therefore do not have my own desk/use of electricity there. The locker thing was merely an example, be good to keep in my bag at all times. I broke down on the M6 once and only had 3% battery on my phone, a charger would've been good then!
Well for the car why not buy a car charger. They only cost about a fiver and they give you peace of mind. I always have one in the car.
if employer won't let her near electricity .....
I suppose family won't risk her sticking fingers in ciggy lighter
;-)

ps ... I have a wind up torch that re-charges phones ... it certainly is a wind-up - 10 mins = 2 minds call time
then again it is for emergencies
Question Author
Acethetroll, it's not like they won't let me near electricity, they just dont want to be paying out for me to charge up my phone, also If I leave my phone charging in any old place it will get stolen. I wish I'd never asked the damn question now lol
