suddenly had a memory block

I was trying to explain to a friend that you could forcefully run programs using command prompt but then on giving him a demo, my mind went blank and i completly forgot what to do. Could somebody shed some light on what you type in, or was it that you created a new command line or... I'm completly stuck here.

you ring the lift engineers.
I think you just type in it's name...

For a Data file just use the Start command...ie:
Start XCOPY.TXT will open that text file in Notepad.

Yes bekka, but does the start command override local security settings, or would i have to boot in safe mode first?
Thats what i can't establish at the moment.
