memory card

help!!! i bought a memory card 4 my digital camera tried it out everything fine so took it on holiday and took all my holiday snaps on it but now wen i try 2 print photos it keeps telling me 2 format!! ive been 2 tescos and happy snaps, no joy if anyone knows of a way 2 get my snaps back please let me know ,cheers

When you say that you tried the camera out before you went on holiday.

Did you take any photos?

Were you able to print the said photos?

I have always formatted a new memory card first, before I have used it.

Unfortunately I think you've lost them unless anyone knows different - my advice although tthis doesn't help you now is to buy two smaller cards instead of one big one, and buy them with a name from a local supplier not online auctions or computer fairs.

I speak from experience!!
