Cant delete email

Can anyone help. I am clearing out my emails to free space and there is one email in my sent items that i cannot get rid of. I press delete but nothing happens.

Then when i try and drag it to the deleted items folder, it says, sorry there is not enough disk space!!!! Well surely by deleting it i would be freeing up some disk space???

When you delete an e-mail, it is moved to the deleted items folder. Naturally, it takes up as much space (or possibly more) in there as it did in the original folder.
Empty the deleted items folder by right-clicking it and choosing (you guessed!) "Empty deleted items folder".

not certain but try this.

go into 'deleted items' and then empty it first - this will then make space to move this e-mail into that file - which you can then empty again
