I am currently using BT Yahoo openworld dialup and I would like to update to Broadband internet. Can anyone recommend a good value package for home use. Many thanks

we have Ntl Home, you get discounts for having cable tv, phone & broadband all from them. Service is good but sometimes email can be unreliable, i just don't use theirs.

I would strogly recommend NOT using NTL (see http://www.aintcap.co.uk for details why)......Wannado seem to be the best price of the major players in the market at the minute at �17.99 per month for FULL speed broadband...always check the speeds on offer as some advertise 150k connections as broadband when this is only about 1/3 the speed of full B/B.

I currently use PIPEX internet, http://www.dsl.pipex.com/ - at �22/month it is a little more expensive than some others, but it is definitely worth it. I have never had any problems with it and the service is always fast and ready. You also get 50mb of web space free (so you can have your own website, or upload pictures for your friends and family) and up to 20 e-mail inboxes. It's a fantastic service. Avoid BTYahoo! Broadband at all costs, and stay away from NTL too - both offer poor services. Wanadoo often give a slow service.
