Cant get MP3 to turn on!

Got technika mp3 (black) last christmas from tesco just dug it out and haven't got any instructions! have loaded on bout 30 songs but when i unplug from the computer i cant turn the bloody thing on any ideas anyone? Only seems to be three buttons play/pause volume/next volume/prev ........ thanks

Have you tried a reset ? According to the manual for the MP506 press the play / pause key and volume + key toghether. The system should reboot with the Technika logo. Also try charging the battery for at least 2 hours. Post back if no luck.

There isn't a lock button on it by any chance? That might stop you turning it on. HAve you tried pressing and holding play?
