Hey I need a new mobile phone and I'm going back over to Florida In August and I was just ondering since you get them cheaper over there if anyone knew for sure that you could buy a phone in America and just buy a new sim card here and the phone would definately work?

Not certain that you can do that but you would need to make sure that you got a triband phone so it would work on the networks over here. Also the phone might be locked so you can only use the phone on one network. It's probably safer to just get one over here as you can be sure it will work properly then.
