Which is the best camera......??

Which camera is best for taking pictures and videos @ gigs and shows so i can zoom in quite close? I have had a look @ the Samsung I85 and that has 5x optical zoom and has been given quite a good review. which other cameras should i look at?

My daughter uses a Panasonic FZ7 (which has now been superceded by something similar) to take fantastic gig pics. It is quite big for mosh pits though! However it has 12x op zoom so can get in close.

Take a look at the Panasonic cameras (TZ-3), or if you want a really compact camera, have a look at the Casio V-8.
