I know going to sky+ would be more expensive but you would be a lot better off since you already have sky. Thinking ahead , when you have to use digital, sky will be your best source of programming so why not invest in it. I have had sky+ for years and it is great.
Hi ...it's me again. Thinking a bit more about things... If you are able to get a decent signal from the normal analogue transmitters you will be able to record that ,if you connect an aerial, then watch another channel on the tv using sky.. Of course if you want to record a channel that is only on sky then you have to watch that. I still think sky+ is the answer , unless you really want to pu things on a dvd to keep or give to someone. All the people I know who have dvd recorders with disc drives just record on to the disc drive and never put anything on to dvd
\Hi 'futritcat' ....what sky+ does is let you record prorams on to a disc drive.... you can hold over 40 hous of recording ...you can watch one record another or record two .... yes you have to get a sky+ box from them ...or other people.......and if you have the full package there is no extra charge ...have a look at the sky+ website.
