Sat-Receiver
Hello, would someone be able to help with an advice?
I have two questions.
I live in a house with several apartments. Yesterday, while the Sat-Technican changed something on the S.Dish on the roof, my Digital Sat-Receiver (3yrs.young) went dead. Nobody had come near it!
Normally it's on standby and shows the time, if the TV is off. I tested it, and there is an audible powersound on it, but no lights of sorts.
Here is the first question - is it possible, that it went bad/broke/whatever, because of the work on the Sat-Dish-system?? Or is it all a huge coincidence?
Secondly - the Technican now wants to sell me a new receiver. Contrary to the one mentioned above, which has two Scart-Cables, the one he brought has only one.
He says, it does not make a difference - I admit, I am not sure, if I can believe it. Because so far, he only got the TV to work with it. Therefore - I am clueless.
Will one be able to connect TV, Videorecorder and DVD-Recorder with only this one Scart-Cable on the receiver?
I hope, I explained understandable, as I am not firm with these technic terms in English, nor in my mothertongue, come to think of it. Sorry.
I am really grateful for any advice. Thank you so much and have a nice W/E
