Best Internet Service Provider Please ...

I wonder if someone could recommend a good ISP, with good service and a reasonable price. Preferably an ISP that doesn't keep having problems connecting .......I am paying 9.99 a month at the moment at AOL. Is it best to go to someone like Yahoo for emails and then change ISPs ?

You'll get a lot of different answers here with everyone recommending their own ISP - it depends what you want in terms of speed and download limits as to what's best
If you have Sky TV, look at their broadband, I'm on it now and can't recommend it enough. 10 a month for upto 16MB and no download limit - I usually get over 10MB
BT's broadband is overpriced and their customer service is shocking. I left them to go to Sky. Orange, Tiscali and Talk Talk are generally regarded as being pretty bad as well. I've read mixed reviews about Virgin, apparently their cable based service is pretty good, but their ADSL service - normal phone line, is not so good.
Do a search in Google for broadband reviews and see what you get

Hi 'smartchops' I don't think there is such a thing as 'the best ISP' they all have some problem for different people. For, example , unlike 'cakeboy' I have BT and it's great. If you look back over past posts you will find a complaint for every ISP .....so you 'pays your money and takes your choice' .......one thing I would say is do not use an ISP for your e-mail ....use a web based mail like 'hotmail' or 'gmail'
