EPP compatibility Dell XPS 630

I have just bought a new Dell XPS 630i. I am thinking of upgrading the RAM and would like to purchase from Corsair. I think that Corsair (TWIN2X2048-6400C4) 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 800MHz/PC2 6400 PC Memory non-ECC unbuffered 4-4-4-12 Black Heat Spreader EPP Technology RAM looks best. I would imagine that this is fully compatible, but what's this EPP all about? I have read several technical descriptions but this still doesn't tell me if EPP on its own affects which motherboards are compatible. Can anyone advise? Cheers.

epp memory is odd stuff it's sold as being for SLi mobos
