Speaker volume

I have a Viewsonic VA 1912W flat screen monitor and its speakers are naff. I cannot get enough volume. Can someone suggest a satisfactory stand alone speaker system that I can add to enhance the volume please?

just look for anything that says 2.1 speaker system, pretty much any of these will be more than good enough for most people. (2.1 means 2 speakers and one subwoofer)
