That was a nice article. You don't have to be REALLY old to be frightened of computers. I was at school in the 70s and there were no computers in my school. So I'm new to computers and still anxious about them.
Being an oldie myself, computers were a natural progression for me.

I started working life with a manual typewriter, progressed to an electric typewriter. A word processor was next - what a revelation!

Then the hugely expensive, very basic pc when we had to learn the mysteries of dos and formatting disks.

Computers are a lot simpler and more stable than those early ones - as well as being much more powerful.
