It's **** and it always crashes on me and I have to wait til the battery runs flat before I have to charge it up and can then get it to do anything.
Anyway I've recently added some new songs to my Itunes library but my nano won't sync. Now the screen says now playing and I can navigate the menu but it doesn't actually do anything or play any music. Please don't tell me my only option is to reset the little ****** :(

Hi. My son's ipod did the same thing with the buttons not working until it ran flat. My husband looked on the net and apparently if you hold down 2 buttons simultaneously for about 5 seconds it kind of reboots it - not a reset that clears everything off it, but just like it does when it runs flat. I can't for the life of me remember which buttons it is, and it may be different for different models of ipod, but google it and it'll tell you. As for the not syncing...unfortunately my son's did that as well, shortly after it started with the not responding, and the only answer we could find to that was to completely reset it via the button on itunes when it was connected and start again from scratch - sorry. Good luck.
In my opinion MP3 / 4 players are better than Ipods. Much less problem with them.

Yes I'm starting to realise that now figure, might have to get a different one soon, I can't be arsed with this faff all the time!
that is why i lost all confidence in ipods. i had enough of them crashing and not doing what they should. i had a video 30gb for just 6 months, and it was locking up, artwork wasnt being displayed properly and the rubber around the earphones was already starting to peel off, which is why i now have a classy mp3 player which does what it says on the tin.
I've never had an issue with mine, but others have.

Apple have excellent support, however.

This is the site that the above tried:
