Removing sky TV channels from digibox listings.
2 Answers
Is there any way of removing Sky TV channels from my digibox that I don't get or will never get, i.e. the sports channels or such like ?
There seems to be an add channels option within the menus but is there another one for removing channels?
Maybe it's hidden like the secret one on the installation page?
Many thanks !

If a digibox becomes faulty out of warranty, the majority of customers will phone Sky and they'll be given the option of buying a new digibox at well over one hundred quid or installing a refurbished box at sixty odd quid, the last time I looked. The faulty digibox is taken away by the installer.
All knackered boxes go back to Sky for refurbishment and even yours will eventually no matter how good it's working now. Digiboxes are rapidly repaired usually by panel replacement and sent back out as limited guaranteed replacements within days. These boxes have to be fully functional and able to pick up all Sky channels. Sky don't employ technicians to tinker with the innards of these boxes in order to put Sky Sports etc back on the menu - it's just not economically feasible.
