I've been here before,but!!

I cant get ZoneAlarm & AVG8 to run automatically when I boot my system. I need them running as soon as I connect to the internet for security reasons (Duugh!!)
I don't know which file or files to include in the shortcut folder when I configure it. I had imagined it would have to be an .EXE file but I'm puzzled!! as someone told me that these 2 progs. would run automatically after downloading!!
What am I doing wrong or what am I not doing RIGHT??

Any help,guidance ,instructions (simple ones) will be most appreciated

they automatically activate as soon as you turn your computer on!

or if you have donloaded them you may need to unzip the folder.
try downloading them again with the option of 'run' rather than 'save'.
then all you have to do is double click the .exe to install

If they turned on as soon as I loaded , them I wouldn't have needed to ask the question,Would I ???
