Final fantasy 8

I dont know if this was the right place to put it, but here goes; in final fantasy 8, disc 2, Right at the end, before you fight Edea, I'm stuck. I've fought Seifer, and I have to go through the door on the right. However, it wont let me throught it. All it does is transfer me to seifer. Has anyone else had this problem? If i'm not going the right way, please tell me where to go.
