message failed HELP!

Hi all, if i sent a text to someone and it says message failed, does this mean it fails completely and won't go through, or it'll go through later? Sent a txt to the wrong person and hoping they're not going to get it!! Thanks to everyone

Could be wrong number. No signal to send it or if you are on PAUG no credit. If none of these could have been sent

With my phone, if a message fails, I go to my outbox and delete it from there just in case it sends itself later !

message failed means its going to give up trying on most phones.. but as jullis said delete it from your outbox just in case..

Now elaborate what did you send to the wrong person... we are a nosey bunch on here LOL.

Thanks guys, I deleted it straightaway so hopefully all should be fine, and I've heard no mention of it from the person involved. As for your question Chuck. . . a certain picture message meant for my boyfriend went to another male friend of mine below him in my contacts list!
