Spybot Search and Destroy

Spybot is forever asking me whether to allow or deny changes and on most occasions I have no idea what to do for the best!! The information presented is usually totally meaningless to me and it would be pure chance if I made the correct choice. I usually click on "Deny", which is intended to be playing safe, but in actual fact it could be a totally wrong thing to do. Could anyone advise what I should do, please? I feel rather a fool and am wondering whether to remove Spybot and go for something like ad-aware, which I often see given good reports by ABers.

The general rule is that if you have just changed some settings on your computer or if you've just installed a program you should select allow & remember this choice . If it pops up for no apparent reason best to click deny .
