Windows Explorer crashing
2 Answers
Anytime I right click on a file and select Properties my PC hangs a little and if Windows Explorer is open it crashes and closes. It's fine if I right click on an entire drive in Explorer (in which case I get the space used/free info) but not on files or desktop links. Any ideas? I realise this is a very obscure question. I'm using XP Pro if that helps.

The first time I resorted to a full re-install of XP Pro as another symptom is that the System Restore facility doesn`t work either. I`m a stickler for keeping on top of malware, viruses, trojans etc. so I am confident that is not the cause.
