Hi
My daughter has an apple mac pc. She takes photos & saves them as a jpg format. When she sends them to me they leave as a jpg but arrive as a bit mam inbedded in the E Mail. The have lost any ident ie Jpg 3456. I then have save to a temp folder open in photo shop & save as a jpg making my own inent.
Is this an apple mac thing or is setting at my daughters end.
Thanks
George

You mean that they arrive as "DCM2948.jpg" or something?
If so, that's how Cameras will name the files.
I assume she's emailing them via Mail.app? If so, tell her to highlight all the photos she wants to send you, right click one of them and click "Compress files". It'll make a .zip file for her, so she can attach that to the email she sends to you.
That should keep all the information intact.
