I have totally given up on Symantec and their Support.
I had exactly the same problem going in a loop but found I could email them from the US site not the UK Site.
My Ghost 10 reported that it would not Update as it was a pre-release or Beta version. It was a legal copy with Manual from PC World actually.
Ghost 10 was mot in the drop Down list on the Support site.
Symantec Support would give no help and in fact said they no longer supported that product.......?
As this was the only product left from Symantec giving problems I removed it and bought Acronis TrueImage
