Can any one tell me if an old Athlon XP fan and heatsink will fit on top of the newer Sempron processor?

I suggest you get the fan recommended bt the manufacturer, you have just bought a new CPU.... stick what they recommend on it, it will work then.... they have tested it and will recommend what is best, why fry a new componment to save a few quid???
