Full instructions
1) In a browser window open up the web site you want the link for
2) With the address still in the browser window, stripe the web site text (hold down the left button of the mouse and drag across it). The text should turn blue.
3) With the text still blue, copy the text by holding down the Ctrl key then pressing the letter C
4) Now move the cursor where you want to PLACE the text (in the email or wherever) by clicking there.
5) Now paste the text by holding down the Ctrl key and pressing the letter V.
This should work
The key strokes "Ctrl C" and "Ctrl V" should copy and paste text in any situation.
