HELP!!..i have deleted something.

Hi,

i have deleted sage from my computer at work and didnt do a back up, i didnt even want to delete it but i had lost my network path!!!.....again!!!

i have tried to restore a different date and it wont let me? i have looked in the bin...its not there??...


any Ideas.

Now you know why we all go ON AND ON about making backups of your important files.

Do you mean the actual Sage product, or the sage data files?

If they are not in the recycle bin then it may be that you have not deleted them (or if they were on a network drive maybe you HAVE deleted them - I dont think files on a network when deleted are put in your recycle bin.

If you have an IT person see if they are somewhere on the "server" (assuming that is where your network path goes to).

yes i should of done a back up!!!... i could kick myself!

i have found the ACCDATA but it wont let me open it. i have also put the sage disc in and tried all the options, ie, new company, upgrade but it cant find my old data??

As VHG said, see your IT folk - if it's a work's machine, they're the ones who will fix it
