old camcorder tapes

Hi,can anyone tell me how I can transfer my films of an old camcorder that I do not have anymore! onto a dvd. I came across them recently and they are really sentimental because they have pictures of a relative I lost recently.

Snappy Snaps will transfer 1hr of vid (unedited) to dvd for about �10 if i remember the window advert i saw correctly ...
