It is badly scratched now is there any way to get the scratches out then I could have it blown up and put on my wall It is brown in colour but I quite like that.. Is there anyone on this site that would be wiling to do it for me if I send the photo to you cheers xx

I did a photo of my mum who passed over years ago with a programme on my PC called `Paint`. It took me many hours to fill each little crack but now one can hardly see any age cracks at all, and I have the satisfaction of knowing she would be proud of what I achieved. My brother and sister wanted copies also. So have a go, it will take time and patience.
Download Gimp (yeah serious) it's an image editing program thats kinda a free, open source, version of photoshop and give it a go your self.

or if you want to send the scan to me I will have look for you, but I'll be honest if it needs to much work then I'll not have time... if it only needs a little work I may be able to help
if you want me to have a look send it to [email protected]

I have got the photo you sent, it is no where near a high enough quality scan of the pic to be able to do anything with it, as soon as I zoom in it loses all definition. (for the techs... it's 37kb)
Firstly you need to scan at a much higher resolution, and then save it as a TIFF or a PNG... not a JPEG

Further to my link this link will take you straight to the photo restoration page, hope it helps.
