I need an extra e mail address can any one please tell me how to go about it.

Contact your ISP, most will provide the opportunity for multiple email addresses for free using your main address as a 'base' account.
Alternatively you could register for one of the many free web based email account at gmail, yahoo or hotmail. Some of these also provide pop3 service so you can download them to your Outlook[Express] program.
