How can i connect a wifi phone to my internet. I already have free internet calls (well i pay 5 cents to connect to house phone) and i've heard that if i get a special phone it won't cost me a penny. So where do i plug it in and can i walk around with it, as with headset and microphone one can't. Thanks to anyone who understand this question!

Go for connectivity/connection then connect to network. Choose available wifi in your location, then you need a pre-shared key or accounts to connect to that wifi. Ask permission to the owner for stable connection.
Activate you WIFI wireless router. Go to your phone application, search for available networks.
You need to have a wireless router and activate its WiFi function.
I use something like this http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=485

It works with my current VoIP provider - Onesuite (http://www.onesuite.com)

You also need a wifi router if you intend to use it in your home. Your wifi router is connected to a dsl modem or cable modem then it transmit wifi signals which can receive by your wifi phone.

You can use your wifi phone anywhere as long as there's a wifi signal and you know the password or the wifi is not secured.
