I have an Hp laptop which uses outlook express for email.
It has just been "compacting" files to save disc space and stopped functioning before completion. Since then I've a huge problem as all inbox email since November 2008 have disappeared. I have rebooted twice and let it sit for a while incase it's just thinking about it, to no avail. They are work email so very important. Please someone have some ideas.
