Desktop icons

just set up a PC for work use, everythings fine apart from the start menu and desktop icons are huge, sort of 'fisher price' spec...tried everything i know including the obvious in the start menu large or small icon option(makes no difference) any suggestions ?

have you installed the correct graphics driver?

if so then change the display resolution to a higher setting..

if XP

already sorted, thanks for the reply,
-found another setting under appearance, advanced,icons, size...didnt know it was there before (never ever had to use it), amazing what you can find when you have the time.
