Adobe Flash Player????

I thought my PC had this installed, but obviously not anymore & I don't know why?
I have tried to view a music video on youtube, but it states that it needs to be downloaded.
I have followed all the info & have even installed their unistall program to get rid of any previous that was lurking on the computer. (As you can probably tell, I'm not good at this sort of thing!!)
Howver, when I've tried downloading Adobe, the message reads Error: Failed to register

Can someone please explain how I get this back, because I'm losing the will to live!!!!! Thank you.

Uninstall Adobe Flash Player again.

Then try installing a slightly older version of Flash Player than the current one. (It will work just as well). Older versions of Flash Player are available here:
http://oldapps.com/flash_player.php
